GpsGate SMS

With GpsGate SMS you can add incoming and outgoing SMS support to your GpsGate Server.

GpsGate SMS is included in GpsGate Server Subscriptions.

For other GpsGate Server installations GpsGate SMS is available as a subscription in two versions:

GpsGate SMS Small: suitable for small installations with support for up to 10 different SMS recipients
GpsGate SMS Large: suitable for larger installations with support for up to 100 different SMS recipients

Notes:
The number of SMS recipients is defined as the tracking device communicating over SMS and users in the GpsGate Server receiving SMS alerts.

GpsGate SMS is available in many countries. Currently GpsGate SMS has phone numbers in the United Kingdom and Sweden. This means that when your devices communicate with your GpsGate Server over SMS they will send SMS messages either to a UK or Swedish phone number.

GpsGate SMS works with GpsGate Server version 2.0 and later.

Getting Started

If you have a GpsGate Server Subscription contact support for SMS activation.

Follow these steps to add SMS support to your own GpsGate Server installation:

1. Sign up for a 30 day free trial of GpsGate SMS. In the sign up process you will be asked for your GpsGate Server address. You will also receive an email with account information and detailed activation instructions
2. Login as Site Administrator on your GpsGate Server and enter your account information for the SMS proxy
